A moon-rise sky-scape complete with jetplane contrail, taken in one single frame in order to capture a perfect moment in time.
This photograph speaks to Daniel’s experience with prescription drug addiction and more specifically to the immense mental clarity he now feels with sobriety. Higher than the Moon marries surreal imagery with razor-sharp detailing to bring the viewer into a tiny corner of Daniel’s mind.
Higher than the Moon is part of an on-going photography series comprised of moon-rise sky-scapes with a dream-like feel.
This photograph was exhibited in Berlin at the BBA ONE SHOT award 2024.
